Republicans Win ASM Fall Elections
The Associated Students of Madison, the Student Government at UW Madison held its fall elections this week. There were two freshman seats open, an L&S graduate seat, and a position of the SSFC were up for grabs. The college republicans, being out numbered 8 to 1 ran like-minded individuals for each seat...and won them all.
Congrats to Sol and Tim for winning the freshman seats, Brain Rusk for the non-L&S grad, and David Lapidus for SSFC...all college republicans. It is a sweep!!
For full results check out the ASM website.
On one of the most liberal campuses in the country. Republicans are winning, one small battle at a time!

We lost the referendum, though! What is a living wage, by the way? It's a very vague standard that leads down the slippery slope towards socialism.

True, BUT WHO KNEW ABOUT THIS REFERENDUM?

Sad!!! The "living wage" is so misleading to non-informed students. We will be picking up the pieces.
